As part of a Forward to Health Scheme, South Staffordshire Council are offering support for people of all ages with medical conditions. This includes a 12 week exercise programme for £35. That’s less than £3 a week!
The ‘Forward to Health’ scheme (FTH) is a 12 week exercise programme to help get you fit and active. As part of the scheme you will receive 1 to 1 consultations with an exercise specialist including:
- Nutritional Advice
- Programme Design
- Health Checks including weight, height, BMI, body fat and blood pressure
- FREE gym sessions (Restrictions apply)
- Discounts on classes and activities at all of our leisure centres
The FTH scheme may be recommended to you by your GP or healthcare professional, or you can refer yourself. The scheme has been specifically designed to encourage people with health and esteem concerns to take part in more physical activity which will help to improve your health and wellbeing.
How to take part
To take part in FTH there is an initial cost of £35.00 which gives you 1-1 consultations for the 12 week scheme along with all of the benefits listed above. You will be required to book in for an initial assessment with one of our fitness experts.
